The wedding is over! It was awesome. The mammoth crowd, both invited and gate-crashers all made the day a memorable one. Everyone contributed immensely to making it a successful one. The bridesmaid, the men on suit, the bridal train, the photographer, the camera man, the DJ, the caterer, the Mc, etc all played their role and everything went as planned. The cake stood imposing; a 5 step mouth-watering design from an expert cake maker. The decoration is inviting. The light exudes ambience. It was superb! It was awesome. It was an elaborate wedding. It was wow and memorable!
The wedding was proceeded by a 2 weeks honeymoon. Your left for Calabar, the Cross River State capital. Yes! Calabar is a cool place to unwind after the stress of the wedding. It is a places to visit. So you spend two weeks exploring the city, visiting great places and attraction centers. You both visited the famous Obudu Cattle Ranch, the slave museum, the great Kwa waterfall, the Drill rehabilitation center, etc.
The hotel where you guys checked in was a state of the art 5 star hotel, located in the heart of the town, along Ikot-Ifa Crescent Road. It has a well designed swimming pool, a spa, a nite club, a spacious car park. To cap it all, it has a free wifi. The rooms is stylishly furnished. Carefully mounted on the wall is a 32''inch LG flat screen Television. The bedding system looks inviting. The mini fridge is stocked with assorted drinks and juices. The tiles in the bathroom looks like a mirror. You could see yourself whilst there. Everything was perfectly arranged and fixed to its proper place. In fact, it was what hotel should be. The environment was serene.
Oh its time for dinner! Your husband took you to Eme Inn, located at 12 Bassey Edim Street. It would be strictly a native meal, Oga had insisted. You savored the tasty meal of Edikaikong soup with a warm semovita. It was awesome! Your taste bud was nudging for more, but your overfilled tummy wont accept anymore. It was delicious.
The honeymoon is over. The 2 weeks of flexing is over. It's time to
return home. Luggages packed and checkout initiated at the hotel's front desk office. Car engine swirl to life. Goodbye Calabar.
